We strongly believe in the importance of communication and involving our clients, every step of the way, to successfully realize their vision. With that goal in mind, we have developed a unique client-centered process so that our customers can count on us to provide timely updates, can anticipate what is occurring next, and what decisions are needed throughout all phases of their project.
Not only do we have the knowledge and experience to be able to visualize what is possible with “raw dirt” or with existing homes, we are experienced through all phases of the design and construction process, starting with the initial planning phases and continuing through to the completion of the project.
Additionally, over the years, our numerous remodeling projects have contributed to our knowledge of what is possible in terms of integrating beautiful design into energy-wise construction.
We make a point to attend relevant industry trade conferences in an effort to see new products that are being showcased and to learn “best practices” from other industry professionals from around the country. We also make a point to attend workshops and trainings to continue to develop and grow our base of knowledge as a team.
Our commitment to continued excellence in producing results on behalf of our clients, has most recently led us to the discovery and immersion in the ‘Passivehaus’ standard (aka Passive House), the most stringent energy-efficiency standard in the world. We are extremely proud to have completed the rigorous training to become one of the few builders in the State to be certified Passive House Tradesperson, and are currently undergoing additional training in Passive House design and application.

Celebration has been the recipient of 13 prestigious industry awards given by the Homebuilders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut (known as the HOBI awards). Many specifically recognize our emphasis and success in building beautiful homes while integrating green building practices into our projects – whether it is in the construction of a new home or while renovating and remodeling an existing home.
When your home is finished, we will give you a detailed notebook that contains all the vital information and records pertaining to the construction of your home. In addition, we walk you through your home to demonstrate how to use all of the technology and automation that we have installed. And we don’t disappear once your project is complete. Not only do we stand behind the quality of each project for the customary 1-year warranty, we will continue to serve as a valuable resource to assure your complete satisfaction.
Additionally, because of our long building history in Connecticut, we pride ourselves on the quality of our relationships with our many trusted trade partners, including both suppliers and specialty subcontractors with whom we have long-standing relationships. Because our relationships are based on integrity and accountability, our clients can be assured of the highest quality of professionalism and workmanship through all aspects of the home-building process.

It is relatively easy to build or remodel spaces that look nice on the surface, but we believe it is incumbent upon building professionals to build responsibly with an eye on creating living spaces where “less is more” in terms of energy consumption. With that in mind, we are near completion on one of the earliest certified passive homes in Connecticut. In addition to meeting the rigorous Passive House standard – to make this home at least 80% more energy efficient than a home built to conventional standard or code – this home is expected to be a ‘Net Zero Passive Home’ which means it will not use more energy than it produces.
We have accomplished this through a variety of methods including organizing information sessions as part of our ‘Building Performance & Design Lecture Series’ and presentations to local groups. Our latest project in development includes, “Behind the Walls”, an instructional video series.
Over the years of living on the shoreline of greater New Haven, our involvement has included:

- Madison Cares: “Raise the Roof” for Habitat for Humanity: Provided carpentry crew for an annual town-wide “Build on the Town Green” event to raise community awareness and involvement.
- Shoreline Arts Alliance – Organization dedicated to the promotion of the arts through an emphasis on programs that educate, enrich and encourage the arts for both children and adults.
- Business Network International (BNI) Member: A local organization of business professionals responsible for developing excellent business skills in the areas of leadership, relationships and communication.
- New High School Building Committee for the town of Madison: A committee charged with the design and feasibility/cost analysis study for a major town-wide initiative for building a new high school.

Additionally, we love the experience and adventure of outdoor activities including golfing, peddling the backroads on our bikes throughout the shoreline or wherever we are lucky to travel, and skiing/snowboarding and hockey in the winter.
And, we have deep roots in the Thousand Islands region on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York, and never tire of sharing our years of rich experiences and memories fishing, boating, and enjoying the spectacular beauty of “the river”.
We would be delighted to start a conversation. Where shall we begin?
